Using the Arabic I have spent years trying to learn to converse with others. Really trying to put myself out there instead of being embarrassed and scared to make mistakes.

| I feel like I did the bare minimum this week. Someone spoke to me in Arabic but I just smiled and replied in English. My goal for next week is to say whatever I can in Arabic, even if its a horribly broken sentence of if it takes me a while to say it | |

| I realise that this is a gradual process of integrating Arabic into my daily life and that I am trying to seize most available opportunities, however I've noticed that my responses are more eloquent when I'm the one initiating the conversation in Arabic as I have time to plan what to say. This is a really bad clutch as it means when other people initiate the conversation I get stumped. | |

| It's been pretty difficult to find situations to use my Arabic but it's a start and I did use it when I could. My goal for next week is to use my Arabic in a wider range of situations. | |
