I couldn't have met my weight loss goals without consuming very low carbohydrates. I am addicted to carbs - they are best left alone for me.

My goal is to stay on a high fat and low carb diet - this means avoiding carbs including and especially sugar. Honestly this can't mean NO sugar - that was not a wise description but I kept my sugar below a few grams per day.

the real indicator of controlled living is my weight which I photo every week and send to my referee. I am going to reduce my weight to my doctor's recommendation - 149 pounds. Then I'm going to make a commitment to stay at that rate for months.
