| Didn't read the news everyday. But I am proud for reading it more often. I even read for like 5 minutes today. Just been busy. | |

| NOTE TO SELF - Sometimes, I worry about getting too obsessed, or even being overly brainwashed by the media or drained by it's negativity and forgetting about my own life or the good/positive simple things in life that have nothing to do with this. So, as I start to educate myself in current events, I think it's important I set limits on my consumption of news. I want to only do it to stay moderately informed and be able to have things to talk about in the conversation. Quite honestly, I'm more interested in learning history. But there's so much information out there, can't know it all. Also, mix up the media you listen to. I think that's a good idea. Last time I read the news I think was on CSPAN, and then I tried BBC the next time, and then I did MSNBC, and the Seattle Times, then I read Fox News and then I read from CNN and then I read today from MSN and also the Washington Post. I do like NPR though, usually because they have interesting stories on there....I wonder if there are other media sites similar to NPR, but better/different? But anyways, yeah just mix up the media. Don't read from just one source. And keep it brief and objective, as best you can :) | |

| Phew, ok I read the news for 20 minutes on 4/27/18. It was sorta confusing, but I read one article about Trump having a meeting regarding foreign policy. It had to do with relations with North and South Korea. Also, Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor and Emmanuel Macron, the french president, were trying to talk Trump into not giving up the Iran Nuclear Deal. I also briefly read an article about a midwife who was depressed about delivering newborns who's parents are part of ISIS. Didn't finish reading it though.... | |
