Devoted my reading time to this ebook tonight. Solid reminder and simplification of basic fundamentals at the start of a hand for me. |

Tonight i re-read the same chapter from last night about evaluating the network I already have. I have a couple friends from my hometown who i talk a lot of poker strategy with.
I know a fellow player who does a popular vlog who may be able to direct me to some Meetup games in Las Vegas. And I know a couple guys from my area who i think have played the Main Event.
I also have a very large network of dealers i have worked with, many of whom live or have lived in Las Vegas.
These are people who may be able to connect me to even more people potentially. But I don't know them all closely and should bring value to them first. |
|
Thia chapter was about developing a network by exploring the resources of the people who already are close to you.
I need to know who it is that I wish to meet. At this point in time, I have an interest in meeting poker players who are already successful and working toward similar goals as mine on and off the table. That's a general description of who i would like to meet.
For social situations or dating, my target is different. |
|
The reading i have done has shifted heavily toward the poker strategy book. I drove all day today and listened to strategy podcasts most of the way. |
