Getting a little tougher. Had a hard time sleeping last night. Nothing came of it, but it was a bit harder. Gotta keep my defenses up. |

I'm learning that a a WWII strategy (or South Korea's COVID strategy) is the best way to make war against the flesh. Basically, I want my answer to be "yes" to any questions of defense. Do I spend time in prayer? Yes Do I block my phone? Yes Does Stickk make me commit to keeping my phone restrictions? Yes Do I have accountability? Yes If things still stay a problem, I can even have my wife put a password on my BlockSite so it can't be changed. Basically, I want a failsafe system. If one thing gives way, there's another safety measure. Similar to an elevator braking system or a nuke power plant safety system. I'm starting to see what Apostle Paul meant by "wage war against the flesh". Set up a Helm's Deep style defense. A wall inside of a wall inside of a wall. |

Yes! Let's do it!! It's working well so far. I haven't circumvented my BlockSite at all. So I'm in the clear. It's caused me not to masturbate too until last night. I'm pretty sure I did last night around 2-3am, but I was so half asleep, I don't fully remember. I also stayed up late last night and had my first beer in probly 4-5 months. Once again, it seems that taking my sleep regimen seriously is a major strategy in my battle. I'll try to get a power nap today and get back to the norm. But restricting social media, porn, etc from this and BlockSite has really made my computer and phone not cause any issues. So I'd say it's a success so far. |
