  "It's becoming easier to ignore the people who don't want to talk and to focus on the genuine conversations that may go somewhere. I'll need to figure out follow-up so I remember to go back to people, as I know this will be part of a viable strategy. Those people who feel like dead-ends are just the people who initially are skeptical. It'll just take time to warm them up. Onwards and upwards. "

  "I am starting to feel the effects of the economy in so much as two of my customers (so far) are cutting back. One has told me they can no longer pay my retainer and the other is closing, so this will have an effect on my business in the new year. I am taking a Celebrancy training course so am hoping to start work in the new year - it's a big step and I'm hoping I can "stomach" it but it will create a new income stream. I'm also looking at maybe doing some voice-over work, but I need to look into that. At the moment, I'm hanging in there, but I am worried for the business. Not a problem just yet though."

  "Off to a rough start with this goal but... I caught up today! I spent the better part of 2.5 hours responding to messages, not including the intermittent breaks that I took throughout. It was truly time well spent, and I'm glad to be caught up. I'll protect this so I don't miss any more days. "
