*Long* AGM! Had to bring in my printer, which turned out to be needed because one of the more fussy committee members insisted that a one-word change to the new organization's constitution requires a reprinting rather than a signed correction.
Taking on a more appropriate, lower key role this time either things will work out, hopefully the other alternative is things obviously not working rather than a limbo, but in any way, after two more years I won't be in town for longer enough to be on yet another committee! Phew

In any case, it's not that after 2 more years I'll be in town much longer anyway, so I'd not be available either way.

Listened to an SSJE podcast sermon (they sometimes record very beautiful chants). Wondering in amazement why I spent so many years contorting my thoughts to fit a collection of texts written several millenia ago
