Well here it is Tuesday, the 24th of January. This has not been easy since school started. You see this is the first time I've written since the first day of school. But this does not mean I have quit training. One day, in order to get my 1 hour in, I did a 15 minute power walk, 15 minutes of Yoga, 15 minutes of weightlifting and 15 minutes of playing on Wii --4 times throughout the day! Sam and I hiked Red Rocks in Boulder-a very, very short hike but lots of rocks, yesterday was the gym and weightlifting at home and today I walked to school. I will fill in the other 30 minutes with yoga and lifting before bed. I am doing as I said and getting my 4 hours a week in and around walking Sam regularly--so, I'm still moving the 2 to 3 times a day I walk him also. I would love suggestions on short, easy 15 minute moving ideas I could incorporate into my busy schedule. What do you think? |

On Saturday I did a half hour power walk with Holly and later that night we did a half hour yoga session. That finished 4 hours for the week and yesterday was a day off. Today begins a new week! |

Holly and I went skiing at Eldora yesterday. I'm not a good Skier but we did get in 9 or 10 runs which is very cool! My body kept up with me, but later in the afternoon it got pretty cold. I should check out Winter Park or Breckenridge. It was a great day and I felt exhilarated and free from worry or stress (except when I was about to fall down). I have Friday (today), Saturday and Sunday to get in one more hour of exercise for the week. YAY! |

Today was a work day and a day to see my buddy Holly. HOWEVER...tomorrow we are going skiing. I'm looking forward to getting some hours of training in then. My referee asked about research...I started research on this and learned I'm supposed to cross train so I'm on the right track. I'll do more 14er research though and report back Madame Referee! |
