Met with a Realitor. He showed us on the map parts of douglas county in our price range. He referred us to a broker at Wells Fargo. We are using our new credit cards, Michelle is holding a AT&T phone account and paying on it. I paid off a lot of bad bills. We will speak with the referal that Mr. Valentine gave us. In another month or so, we will run that credit report again. It would be NICE if the scores were high enough. (fingers crossed).

Michelle roasts beans at the Starbucks Plant and I work for the Washoe Tribe, both in Douglas county. We did live there for the first several years after we moved from Fallon. The kids have remained in Douglas schools and we want them both to go to Douglas High, not Carson. The plan is to move one last time into a mortgage in that county. I'm sorry you didn't meet Michelle when we were in South Bend. How many kids did you and the Hubby have? Your first child must be out of college by now.

Keep up the good work! Suggest you check out a website called creditsesame.com It allows you to keep track of your credit score and gives you ideas, including what credit cards to apply for, etc. Try it! It has been successful for me and it's FREE!

With money borrowed from the 401(k) We paid off the following bad debts: $1730.00 Dollar Loan $992.00 Business Professional $460.00 USA Cash $137.00 National Business Factor $50.00 Surgical Group Total: $3369.00 Applied for a secure credit card with $400 from tax return. Michelle applied for a secure credit card with $500 from tax return. $273.00 for badly needed new Tires on escort.

Studied our credit report. I understand which agencies to write to including the three credit reporting agencies. Applied for a loan from my 401(k) pay off debt and secure a credit card. Filed 2012 taxes.
