And as a result of going back over the timeline from a new perspective - has this painted a new version of your reality? I always love the analogy that we are the main character in our movie called 'life', it's the energy we give our circumstances that gives the reality an opportunity to exist. Brava Susan for going back over your movie and altering the perspective or perhaps the way your story is told... :)

Yes I missed a day this week. :( But...All the other days I did do it were amazing. I'm going a bit deeper this time around and getting much more out of the program. I'm not going too deep that I'm getting bogged down in old stuff, but it's like this time around i get it....the message is sinking in more. With being a carer for hubby I occasionally see a psychologist who helps me with the challenges I have to face. Something she said to me the other week gave me a totally different perspective of something from my childhood that I had not realised was affecting me until now, and that prompted me to go back through an exercise in our PD Curriculum on our life timeline and how certain high impact events in your life can affect you in a positive or negative way. It's really interesting to do this exercise again from a totally different perspective.

I found something really helpful for the days when I do not really feel like doing what I committed to do - and being very honest - there are going to come days we all feel like this. I have a lot of challenges going on in my life. But i don't want to use them as an excuse to not do what I commit to doing. There are some busy days when sitting down to journal or write about my thoughts at the end of the day is the last thing I feel like doing. So I decided that on those days (and I will try to keep them at a minimum so I am continuing to move forward, instead of doing exercises and journalling, what i will be doing is just listening to an audio or watching a video of our Personal Development curriculum content. That way I still have something positive to think about and mull over and it gives me things I can work on or try to implement into my life. Keep things light and fun...otherwise I'll never feel like doing it! What's the wise saying 'If it's not fun...it shan't be done!'
