SigmaX commits to:
I will not learn (or create) new Anki cards for hobby topics until I have finished all “Level 1” and “Level 2” to-do items for that day.
If a task is *really* blocked, I can bury it—but use that only as a last resort. Learning new cards that are closely relevant to work projects is okay at any time.

| Yesterday’s failure was just a failure to report. Ironically I worked very hard on chores and actually got to make a couple legitimate cards at bed time for the first time during this entire commitment! | |

Used up my last forgotten report—traveling this week and want to make geography/history cards while doing so. I’m very close to caught up in todo tasks though, so hoping that today I can make cards penalty free for the first time! |

This has been a great commitment so far. I still have a backlog of cards (especially practice cards—ex. piano, Chinese writing, etc.), so it's clear that I needed to reduce my learning rate anyway. This "do chores/todos first" rule may be the perfect way to limit my learning rate and keep it realistic, so I can benefit from Anki but also relax and not be stressed by over-committing to it. |
