have a better appreciation for separating hyperplane theorem now for any nvs you can separate two non empty disjoint convex subsets (if one is open or if one is compact and one is closed) w a hyperplane. the theorem can be used to show things are linearly dependent under certain conditions |

| I have read 1.1 and I started 1.2 today! if only it weren't for one T.A. i would have gotten through 1.2. it has been an amusing read so far. i enjoy feeling like i'm adding to my knowledge that more problems are solvable! | |
