success! now to push myself to do the same for the entirety of this pay month!
I was wavering yesterday, fantasising about all sorts of filth I'd eat either between completing this contract period and setting the new one, or by creating additional caveats in the new contract; however, now today's rolled around, and given the clear picture and inspiration that recent intensive work on my budget has given me as to just how much sacrifice is required to get out of debt and save towards important health and investment purchases within any reasonable time frame, plus feeling inspired by the weight I've already lost sticking to this contract, I now intend to set the new, equally stringent contract immediately I've finished this entry. |

I'm not sure exactly how StickK classifies it, but I'm reporting up to and including Wednesday (yesterday) as that day is now complete and I know I was successful for that entire period, whereas I won't be certain I was successful today (Thursday) until I wake up tomorrow (Friday)! I will treat each of the reports due on Thursdays in the same way. |

further clarification on the Sat–Sun ready-made drinks allowance of £3.50 (because there isn't room in the "I commit to..." field): as well as £3.50 being the total allowance for the whole of the Sat–Sun period, it can't be rolled over into the working week or following weekends when it isn't spent. |

glad I remembered Stickk because before I was resolving and failing almost every day not to go for a £10+ breakfast at a place that shall not be named, because even doing so triggers a craving! Since making the contract, the sense of craving and compulsion has virtually disappeared—any time the thought occurs, I now just think, "No, I have a StickK contract and this isn't permitted", and it feels easy to go with that as opposed to experiencing any kind of struggle. |
