Alison2310 commits to:
I commit to:
(1) Keeping a close eye on my finances so that I keep my current account in the "black" and only using funds from other accounts, in an emergency situation, (2) I also commit to keeping wasteful, remorseful or frivolous spending to a minimum. (3) I also commit to ensuring I quote slightly more than I anticipate work to cost,. based on time management, and not allow others to take advantage of my good nature - when it comes to payment.

Another massive month, expenses-wise but I am hoping to stay on top of it all.
My car is a huge cost, along with renewing my Wix hosting, for Tangerine, hygienist, and the biggest amount of all is my work tax. It seems that everything has been sent all at once - at a very difficult emotional time for me and my family. Never rains but it pours. What's more, I wish my clients would bloody pay me on time!!!

Really expensive month - my car had a service and an MOT, which it failed on emissions, so now I have to pay for a company to try to fix the issue. While I wasn't expecting that, I have "Rainy-Day" funds that I've been building up and that is something I would never have done before I started micro-managing my finances.

Also, I am juggling with rises costs for my business, as everyone is, so I'm in the process of working out where I can cut some of my outgoings.

Father's Day proved more expensive than I planned but, with our current family medical emergency situation, I've not had time to plan it, so I ended up having to rush to get something at the very last minute, so I went to Montague Jeffreys which is a high end gentleman's shop that I know my Dad likes, and spent a bit of a fortune. I managed this through my "Rainy Day" funds, so not an issue. I have also noticed that I budgeted a contingency amount for this month, so, actually, I'm well-organised. Good on me!

My business tax is coming up next month, so I need to make sure I'm on top of that. Generally, though, my finances are pretty much under control.

All good so far this month. I do have some big expenses coming up but I've budgeted for these, and I'm hopeful that nothing will slip through the net .
