One should be strategic and reach out for lid lifters or allow others to lift lids in their life when we need help.
A leader should also be able to lift others with their words.
A leader should also be able to raise others with their action.
A leader should be able to give up for others to go up.
A leader should be able to also identify lid lifters in his life.
Jonathan was an example of a lid lifter in the life of David. he encouraged him with his words and with commitment through his action and was able to give up the throne for David to rise to the throne.

I learnt that a leader is meant to be able to lead himself first before he can lead others. A leader should also be able to first remove his own limiting lids before he would be able to remove limiting lids in his team.

On Today's review on the 21 most powerful minutes in a leader, I learnt that everyone had lids in their life and they don't get lifted because someone takes up a leadership role.
I understand that lids are limiting acts or behaviour which if not curtail or removed can cause a grievous impact in the life of a leader or an individual.
Some of the lids that we saw in the life of Saul were impatient, deceit, denial, jealousy and anger.

I started the book and read about the different leaders using Saul and David as a case study.
They both have somethings in common but they lead differently.
David keep getting better as a leader but Saul continue to indulge and relying on his own wisdom and understanding
