Giving myself a strike that counts as 1/3. I ate breakfast but because I couldn't connect to the internet I ended up not working. In retrospect 1) I could have just done my chores, 2) Why the hell did I think it was a good idea starting my day by getting my phone and lying in bed because "I could check the news this way", using my phone in the bed never ended well. |

Did it today. I'll have to work tomorrow. The workload is quite overwhelming and seems impossible if I don't really stick to working more hours *and* more efficiently at the same time. Recently I've come to accept that this relatively flexible job and its pay is due to the fact it expects us to do unrecorded overtime a lot. Relative to the $#!+ job market I'm in, my job is good, unfortunately, despite my spirit screaming otherwise. I've asked around to confirm that fact. |
