Gradually reduce sleep by 30 minutes every 30 days. After 30 days at 4.5 go back up to 5 and maintain indefinitely.

9) 5 felt much better waking up, still difficult but significantly better. I need to allow for the sleep pressure to build so i get the maximum relief from the 5 hours and remember it takes time

8) 5 woke up before the alarm and we t back to sleep. Still got 5

7) ❌Good and bad: Woke up before my alarm. Made the dumbest choice to turn off the alarm before it went off and think I could stay a wake in bed without going back to sleep. Of course i went back to sleep 6.5
