I fell like I am experiencing ups and downs... I have noticed that I really need to select my energy and that my mood also really declines when i dont meet the expectations and goals i set for myself. In the recent days i have experienced a bad mood being related with bad behaviors. I feel like i am stuck in a never ending cycle where the routine would help me so much but it dosent work everyday for me... So I want to establish new challenges. Today i want to try and charge my phone out of reach of my bed, meaning that ill have to stand up to reach my alarm. Maybe this will be the small steps which mill make me get out of bed more efficiently in the morning.

This week was honestly more challenging than I expected. I only managed to wake up early once to work out in the morning, which initially made me feel disappointed because it didn’t align with the routine I wanted to build. I had this clear image in my head of becoming someone who consistently trains early, and not meeting that expectation felt frustrating.

However, I still worked out later in the day on other days. That’s something I need to consciously acknowledge. Even if it wasn’t at 7am, I still showed up for myself. I didn’t completely abandon the habit, I adapted it. And that’s an important difference.

I noticed that waking up early requires more than just motivation. It depends on sleep, stress levels, health, and overall energy. After being sick recently and feeling slightly demotivated, my body clearly needed a bit more recovery. Instead of seeing this week as a failure, I’m starting to see it as feedback: maybe the focus right now shouldn’t be on the time of day, but on consistency in movement overall.
