Take it day by day. Weight loss is not a linear progression. Focus on creating healthy habits and eating patterns and not so much on the numbers on the scale. Go on YouTube and search for BJ Fogg behavior model to set the foundation for your new healthy habits.

Just started a weight loss round and taking it low and slow. The "slow carb" diet in Tim Ferris' book, "4 Hour Body" is simple enough for me. Here are some of my commonsense guidelines: Don't eat for entertainment, eat for nourishment. No fast food. There is no "snack" food, just food. Carbs should be restricted. Don't drink your calories.
