Went to the gym finally! Alas, just for a day, and for an hour. I did not enjoy it because it was crowded and there were people everywhere. Now that the juniors are here, it will be further packed. Need to figure out a time that is feasible for me. Badminton was mid this week - I fell sick and we did not find the time to coordinate between our classes and the rain :/

I want to try swimming once I am well. And, sleep less. Been sleeping a lot.

Exercise to me is to move my muscles and not plank my ass on the chair (these days it is the bed).
From previous experiences I found that I enjoy exercises that give my mind a little to do. I am aware that this does not strictly fall under the definition of exercise. But we all need to start somewhere. Naturally, I sought out badminton in my first week as that is something I enjoy playing. Initially the idea was to hit the gym too, however, did not step a foot into gym despite being around D landing for 3 odd days :/

Created a Whatsapp group and added friends to it so it's easier to coordinate timings. The rain played spoil sport. However, I loved playing when it drizzled lightly. Watching the rain descend and simultaneously the drops when the shuttle is struck by the racquet was sublime for me.

This has been a decent start. However, not enough. I am not exerting myself as much as I would like to. Partly because the schedule does not allow such exhaustion (I need to sort prereads as well) and partly because I am yet to find the meditative state of playing.

Gym looks tricky the coming week. Hopefully, I'll feel more fresh and alive during the sport.

PS been taking the stairs every where and every time. Friends give me a weird look. I convinced them a couple of times. But that's a progress I suppose.

PSS I also need to fix a time for gym. And really just find out how I approach it.

I wanted to exceed them but the weekend was jam packed. Glad I did 5 days. And some days I rewarded myself with an icecream (not counting calories here but the act of doing itself).
