| Ok, there was simply no way to get around my need to spend my time hunting for extra income rather than indulging in writing. So I didn't make the goal, but I enjoyed the early part of the process when I was keeping up, even if not daily. Next year I'll probably set different benchmarks. To my surprise, I actually can make up a missed day by writing like crazy on the weekend. So I'll have a different strategy for next year's nano. I also still intend to come up with a more reasonable writing goal (or goals) to continue throughout the year, but I'll have to do some real thinking about what's realistic. This having to report no every week is not fun! | |

| Alright, this goal has fallen into a black hole caused by car failure, subsequent purchase and the panic-stricken seeking of additional income to cover the new car payment. I'm not going to pretend December will be any different, but I intend to set up a new, more modest goal for January and then perhaps another ambitious one for Feb. No progress at all with word count this week. I've got some hope that I'll get in some over the holiday weekend. | |

| Hey, so I didn't make it to 25000. Partially because I started over but I really like this better so I think I might be able to do it. :) Congrats on being almost halfway!!!! | |
