For the week ending Jan. 22, I exercised everyday except Jan. 16, 17, and 22 (I don't plan to exercise on Sundays). I only kept to 3 drinks on one day (Jan. 21). However, I have lost about 3 pounds primarily by exercising and consciously watching what I eat. I need to do better with the drinking, I know. |

I weighed myself this morning. I am down to 120 pounds (from 124). Today is Jan. 23 and I "began" on Jan. 16. I exercised this morning (pilates and water aerobics) and yesterday, although I didn't exercise a lot (Sunday), I did walt and was very moderate (3 drinks) on the wine. I am hopeful although I know I have a long way to go, especially on getting the wine consumption down to 3 drinks a day. |

It's Jan. 20. My referee refused to sign on, so I'm on my own. Started exercising on 1/18 but missed on 1/16 and 1/17. Life is complicated.... Haven't come close to 3 glasses of wine a day...but have started losing some weight, just by being more conscientious about what I eat. It'll get better now that I am in sunny Florida and can get out of the house more regularly. Besides the warmer weather, the days are getting longer. Yeah! |

I signed up today after reading the NYT's article on Sunday regarding New Year's resolutions. I'm going to start on Monday, after celebrating my father's 100th this weekend. I won't be doing much drinking (or exercising) this weekend, so thought it best to start on Monday. I'm hopeful... |
