Arrive @ office by 9:30A EVERY day M-F.
Work 7+ hr between 9A-7P M-F. (If in KC M, 10h timer starts at office, subtract work already done.) To measure, record breaks in journal. At most 5 hr TOTAL / M-F during work time on: gchat, composing nonwork e-mails, nonwork websites (incl. pointed to by e-mails), conversation (Except about my work, or if they need my help.) On weekends, do 4+ hours of work, within 6 hours of arriving at work. Up to 7 working hrs transfer within a week.

| Now I am about to go to a conference. How will that work? Am I automatically working because I am there? Should I keep track of whether I actively listen to talks? I think I will try that. Also, should I still consider the workday to last 10 hours, given that conference activities all by themselves last 12-13 hours per day? | |
