Spend $200 a week or less Star this Commitment
Week 4 of 4

corie commits to:
On the little things, like Target visits (since when is that a little thing? It's like heroin). Swim lessons for the kid. A trip to Starbucks. These things gobble up our monthly spending. Things I can do to avoid pitfalls: do a check-in before making an unplanned shopping trip... what's my purpose?, think sustainable, buy groceries online... nothing gets me to stick to the list like AmazonFresh, go for a walk, scrapbook a page, take the kids to the rotate cupboard for old toys that haven't been out in a while. Think reuse.

I made it, although it was a very depressing week! E's income is based entirely on the market doing well and so we are losing income by the day. So the goal came in at the right time, and while Target called about 3 times wondering where I was this week, I avoided it. It's going to be an ugly breakup. I've lowered my standards on T's bday and Xmas gifts, and plan to make more than a few. I took a cose look at my grocery standards and cut those that add up, plus talked to my very frugal friend Wendi about ideas and scanned cocktailmoms blog for frugality. On the right track. Must find a new hobby :)
