1 yoga. 1 hike, 1 sick day (3 days this week of nausea, general malaise and migraine good times with super jacked up neck muscles). I still went a little easy in yoga, but felt much better than the week before, and my knee only pulled a couple of times. haven't felt anything wrong with my knee since then. hoping to be able to go back to running this week |

Knee a lot better, but the tendon is still slipping and clicking when I get too crazy, and still feels tight when I use it rigorously. Tested it out with yoga on Thursday. pushups and crunches on Friday. Saturday was Untalent show #2, and I did feats of strength as my untalent. :) Doesn't really count, but I did a bit of strength stuff for that. Walk along a path for mother's day yesterday. |

Hiccup in my plans. Yoga on thurs I tweaked something in my knee. One of those things where you stretch and feel a pain because a ligament or tendon is in the wrong alignment, so you have to adjust and then you can stretch back down.
Friday I decided to run, and I could feel it pulling in my knee a bit, so I ran lamely and not far, but still ran.
Fri evening and Saturday morning it was really sore, even just to walk - felt really stiff and I could feel that pull and some soreness.
Saturday walked around a lake with friend, kid, dog.
Sunday supposed to be hip hop day, and I almost decided to go anyway and just be low key in class, but I realized that it being sore even just to walk might be a sign that I shouldn't. So Kathryn and I went for a little walk instead. That's not real exercise, but that kind of thing (getting out into the world and doing the ritual of exercise without really doing much actual exercise) might have to count until this feels better. |
