btcall commits to:
I will write, revise, or submit to a journal at least one poem per week. Each week the goal is met, I will set aside $5 and purchase a subscription to a literary journal at the end of five weeks. When the goal is not met, I will pay $5 per week to a charity.

| I was able to meet my goal again this week. I will be glad that this contract is over, though, as it was probably inadvisable to add another stress on an already stressful semester. In retrospect, I would have chosen a behavior that took less time to complete and that was more clearly defined. | |

| I've been able to meet my goal every week so far, but I think in the future I would use stickK for simpler, more discrete behaviors (calling family, doing a certain number of sit-ups daily, etc.) I also could have defined "working on poetry" with a time limit instead of measuring it by output. As it's being measured now, it is a complex behavior that looks different every week. | |

| I was able to find time to write a poem this week. Before I knew I would have this time, I thought that I may just donate the money to charity. I see now why they use anti-charities. Especially in my contract, where I am either spending either $5 on myself or giving it away, it almost seems "nobler" to not meet my goal and give the money away. | |

| Again, with another busy week, I found myself hurriedly revising a poem to keep from breaking my commitment. In retrospect, it may have been better to pick a behavior that was not so time-intensive to change during an already full semester. Still, the reason I chose this behavior is because I knew there was little chance of me working on writing at all if I did not commit to do it--so I suppose it is better to do the bare minimum weekly than nothing at all. | |
