Got thrown off with buddy's bachelor party, just too much going on so didn't make the time for it. Will get back on track this week.

Doing alright, not seeing as many side benefits as before (e.g. exercising more, eating better), those seem to have abated. I've been traveling a lot, however, that may have something to do with it. Need to remember that one of the central ideas behind the meditation is conditioning yourself to realize that you can control your mood, that you can CHOOSE to refocus and not be led astray by every little impulse - the trick is going to be remembering this in your every day life

Feeling good. The key is not only to focus on the one goal, but you have to - and this sounds weak, but it's vital - you have to give yourself a pass on all the other stuff for a while. You have to go easy on yourself in order to get the one thing, to go through the process of internalizing it (21 days, 30 days, etc.), and then you'll have freed up the energy to add something else to your habit list.
