mscary commits to:
Reading one chapter per day from one text book. There are six textbooks currently for three courses that I'm taking. I will use the hours of 6p.m. to 11p.m. during Monday thru Friday. Next, I will read one chapter from my chosen textbook during the entire day on the weekends-Saturday and Sunday.

| I have finished one Summer class and I have two classes left for the rest of the Summer session. I have been reading at least two chapters per day since last entry on 6/7/13. I have found that if I do not have a chapter to read for the day then I will review the most recent chapter for current classes. Typically this review of the chapter will help me with definitions or concepts that I'm having trouble with. The procrastinating is not occurring as often due to the fast pace of Summer sessions. I will continue to focus on my notes and powerpoint presentations available when chapters are not available to read. | |

| This writer, Michael Cary has continued to work on reading more chapters within the assigned classwork for the time frame of May 31, 2013 thru June 7, 2013. I have successfully read at least one chapter per day. On three days during this time frame, I read three chapters not exclusive to SPCE 610 but the two other graduate level courses attending as well. I have found it most important to not get into the routine of leaving my books within my school bag. I am now leaving my books in common places with book marks hanging out which appears more "busy" to me this helps me at least open up to the chapter due for the week or current day. No issues yet noticed with improving my response time to assigned reading I will continue to monitor over the weekend when there are more distractions that are typically family related. | |
