Black beans are for carb days only please. Next carb day is on Wednesday. Great food choices!

Breakfast: Coffee, with stevia, spring mix salad smoothie with 1/2 cup mixed berries protein shake mix, using unsweetened almond milk.

Snack: Smoothie

Lunch: chicken breast on salad, with celery, tomatoes, and onions, with carrots and black beens

Snack:

Dinner: turkey meatloaf, brussel sprouts, and steamed asparagus

Exercise: No Exercise

Water: 72 oz

Sugar: 12 gr.

Hang in there with the exercise and you will get stronger every day. With food, we need to make sure that you are doing Carb day correctly. Carb day was Saturday. You need to do 2 servings of a complex carb at or before your lunch. So you had black beans with lunch with was great but you need to do one more serving before that. Did you take your /cheat meal on Friday with the cheeseburger and fries or was it the prime rib? Still need to include carrots, almonds and peas in the sugar totals. It does help when you are planning your meals ahead of time to figure out the sugar before you eat so that you are not going over the 20 grams. More water per day. You should be doing half your weight or 80 ounces per day. Water is critical for performance and preventing fatigue and muscle soreness. Keep pushing each day. You can do this.

There! all caught up. Not sure how accurate Thursday is, but Friday and Saturday is spot on. I have to admin I am struggling--not so much with the food, but with the exercises. I am not as strong as I would like to be and the exercises are killer. I don't have enough inside to push me to do them to exhaustion, but I keep trying. Here's to starting over again on Monday!
