kilbourneaw commits to:
I commit to walking/jogging at least 3 times per week in an effort to learn how to run 5K. My goal is to be able to run a 5K (3 miles) by May 23rd. I will be using the walking/jogging schedule on http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. This will also get me into better shape, and is my first big step in taking better care of my body.

so yesterday, it was getting too dark for me to run, so i went to the gym in the house and the treadmill was password locked! so i did the elliptical for an hour instead. im not really counting that, but it depends on how this week works out. i just did the first day of the second week from the schedule (90 seconds of running, 120 seconds of walking for 20 minutes) and i could tell it was harder. i'm going to take the day off tomorrow, and then run again on thursday morning! ill be in charleston again this weekend, so hopefully i can find a little time. maybe on saturday morning when jack is running his 10K. ha.

i started saturday, and i ran again today during lunch. im amazed at how much easier it was today already!!
