Make a schedule/agenda every mornin... Star this Commitment
Week 5 of 5

ichinen commits to:
Creating a schedule/agenda every morning before 8:30 AM. This way, I can keep in line with what I want to do and reach more goals. I just got laid off from my job, so I really need the impetus to stick to a schedule. The schedule should have no fewer than 5 projects to accomplish, and should always include 1) Morning and evening chanting; 2) Member Care; 3) CFP; and 4) Physical fitness. Cleaning and job research are also good ones to have!

Sounds like you're doing well with this. I agree that the important thing isn't necessarily to get everything done so much as to have a list of priorities to work from and maybe to get the first three done. The main problem is if something that needs to be done keeps getting put off. In which case it helps to make that the ONE thing to do on a given day. For weekends you might abandon having a list for each day and have a short list for the whole weekend. I've just had a talk with my fiance about how we spend weekends because I need to be getting more done rather than have them spent as extended dates. We're not able to see each other during the week due to opposing schedules so we've fallen into a habit of weekends being about "us" when I really need them to be about getting chores done. Which is to say I can relate to that challenge.
