| Filled the commitment! I did use the 2 free passes, but I still ended up with over 57,000 words by Thursday the 3rd. Yes, they're free-written words, but they did help me make a lot of breakthroughs. | |

| So far, I've taken one pass day. But I do have over 42,800 words racked up, and I think the best part of the challenge is having the demand of words to help me make breakthroughs in the story. | |

| Two days in and I've got over 6,000 words! Having the high word count has pushed me to get these early scenes done (so easy to dally in them because they're not perfect), explore possibilities (Why not? I have to do something to hit 3,000 words!), and is satisfying in that I can look at the document in tiny size and then see that Ive already created some huge chunks of material. Writing is cool. | |
