Another successful week. I consumed 4 bottles of water, or the equivalent in my refillable water bottle, each day last week.

The refillable water bottle worked pretty well. It was a little harder to keep track of how many times I had refilled it, but I ended up using check marks on a post-it to make sure I was refilling it the designated number of times. It was also helpful that my water bottle had measurements down the side so I knew where I needed to fill to.

This was the last week for my assignment through class. I am planning to continue my goal at least another couple weeks. I want to prove to myself that I can do this on my own, without the pressure of receiving a grade for the project. When I set up the project I did it for a full 12 weeks, so I'm thinking I can just re-evaluate weekly as I've been doing.

Another successful week! My only problem was, I fell behind a lot in the afternoon and ended up drinking more in the evening to make up for lost time. This caused me to lose a bit of sleep being up a couple times a night to use the restroom. Sleep loss is not something I need, so I am going to try harder this week to get my water consumption completed by 8pm (as opposed to around 10pm). I am considering setting a couple alarms throughout the day as reminders to keep drinking water.
This week I want to try to transition to a refillable water bottle to start saving a little money on bottled water. Even though the cost is not high (about $5/week) it would still be nice to get into that habit. I also might try to get some flavored water packets to mix things up a bit.

This week went well for my water consumption commitment. I continued to drink 3 bottles of water each day. Writing on the bottles with a sharpie marker (for instance, Monday #1, #2, and #3) has continued to help with making sure I keep track of what I have consumed already. My struggles come when I am away from home and forget to bring water with me. I generally go buy a bottle of water and refill it however many times I need to until I return home.

This week I bump up to 4 bottles a day. I am aiming to finish one bottle by 11am, 2pm, 5pm, and 8pm in order to keep track of my water intake at an appropriate pace.

I haven't noticed much change in my health or energy, but I have noticed that I am not as hungry as often as I was before this goal. I imagine I'm filling myself up more with water than before and therefore don't need to eat as much. I am not keeping track of any health measures so that is just based on my impression of my typical eating behavior.

I succeeded in my commitment this week! I consumed three bottles of water each day Sunday through Saturday. I definitely found it easier to try to gauge my water throughout the day by trying to have one bottle consumed by 12p, 4p, and 8p. Using these times I was able to adjust my consumption as needed. This week I will continue to drink three bottles a day before bumping up to four bottles a day next week.
