Still going strong, both of us! |

Skip and I are both doing great. He went home yesterday. And I have gotten into a rhythm of three yoga classes a week, with workouts MWF and a combination of swimming, biking or running on those days too. I've been running hard for the last week, and it feels great. Starting tomorrow, Zoe and I will be in Montreal, where it will probably be too cold to run, but hopefully our hotel will have a gym so I can maintain the momentum. |

Skip is getting better. As for me, I am not losing weight and I missed two goals this week, not doing the 30 minute weight training on Wednesday or the whole gym workout on Friday b/c Zoe didn't go to the rec center, but other than that, I'm on track and can begin to feel these routines becoming permanent. Inshallah! |

It's been a good week. Best part: Skip is working harder than I am and getting better. Next best part: I'm sticking to my guns too, doing 30 minutes of weight training MWF and 30 minutes of t
two of these: running, swimming, biking. I had a great yoga session on Friday, my third of the week (I replaced my fourth session with a checkup and a bone density test), in which the teacher diagnosed my longstanding back pain (SI stiffness from too much computer time), so I hope to be able to overcome that. I'm really trying to live in my body for the first time in years, and that feels fab. Skip and I are scheduled to share a glass of champagne on Friday if he's feeling stronger. May it be so.
