aymia commits to:
cutting down my intake of processed sugars. No more regular binging on chocolate, sweets, carbonated drinks, cakes, desserts, etc. Stick to natural sugars such as fruit and honey within moderation.

Guess who's doing well? ME! Not bought pastries, cakes, desserts, chocolate, any of it. I swapped them out for an Eat Natural bar which is pure fruit and nut or dark chocolate covered rice cakes. I drink the brand Options for hot chocolate because they only have 4g of sugar per cup, that's 1/5 the regular amount of sugar in other hot chocolate brands! And theyhave such delicious flavours so I can still enjoy a hot chocolate since I'm not a coffee person. For cereal I have 1 teaspoon of sugar only because we don't have honey or I would've substituted but 1 teaspoon is waaayyy better than the HEAPED tablespoons my nephew uses. Cravings are alright, not too bad. Fruit and the hot chocolate quells it and I'm not exactly eating the natural bars or rice cakes often, only once at uni which is only about 3 times a week. I've also made a move to stop bacon, though that is not sugar, I've avoided bacon things. So yeah, I'm doing well.

Week 1, I'm ready. So far I haven't even had too much sugar as it is but we'll see how the week goes!

So I guess I chose to start this at the worst possible time because the time of the month is coming and that's where I consume the most amount of sugar. It can't be an excuse and I just have to ignore it. I know eating too much fruit will actually fuel my sugar cravings so I'm going to make sure that I don't eat too much, eat a vegetable or boiled egg instead when I'm really craving. I got my bestie watching out for me so I better not let her down or I'll be paying $5 very often.
