@Erin. I don't even know what to say. I'm speechless. What a thoughtful message. This means so much to me. I will carry it with me.
When you spend your adolescent and teenage years chugging soda like it's water, it makes giving it up later in life no "small feat." Let's call it what is really is: an addiction.
P.S. I miss them too. |

I want to congratulate you on your courage to make choices like these. It may seem like a small feat to give up "soda pop" or alcohol to some, but I see this as a brave decision to boldly rebel against the world and all the destructive, empty junk that it insists you should have in your life for whatever reason. Happiness and health are personal choices that we are all called to courageously make every single day, and here you are making those very choices publicly (at the risk of receiving ridicule and mockery from others who aren't doing the same for themselves). It can get lonely, and it can be tempting to give up and wonder what you're doing it all for. Fight the good fight, finish the race, and remain faithful. (P.S. I miss our walks!) |

@Hema: Home made soda? Don't think that would be much better.
@Erin: flavored water would be fine, as long as it's not sweetened. But the "flavored water" I drink is tea. ;) |
