spending less time on social media by putting down my phone and not looking at it for at least an hour a day. By spending less time on social media, I hope to spend more time with my family and friends and learn to live in the moment instead of living behind a phone screen.

| This week was a tough one. While I did complete my goal I found it difficult to remember to stick with it, especially because I had the week off. This is definitely something I'd like to stick to beyond the 8 weeks but I think I need to work harder at remembering to not check my phone. | |

| This week was a little difficult because I finished work and had a lot of extra free time. Once again I needed to remind myself to put down my phone for a hour. I was able to complete my goal but I had to remind myself to do so. This is harder than I thought it would be! | |

| This week was definitely easier than the last, although I still had to remind myself to turn off my phone for the hour. I guess I never really realized just how often I am on my phone. This is definitely something I will need to work on. | |

| The first week of my commitment was a little difficult. I had to set an alarm on my phone to remind myself not to use my phone for the hour which seems a little counterproductive. Monday-Thursday of this week I was able to keep my commitment and stick to my goal. However, I went away on Friday and failed to accomplish my goal. For this upcoming week, I'm hoping to stick with my goal for the entire week. | |
