My goal is to decrease the number of times I bite my nails each day, and will try my best to completely stop biting my nails each day for at least 5 consecutive weeks. Nail biting has been defined as anytime a finger crosses the lips, is placed in the mouth, and the nail makes contact with one or more teeth in which an audible sound is produced. My goal each week will be met if the length of all ten nails measured each Sunday are longer than the previous Sunday’s (7 days before that day).
