JeremyStein commits to:
I will not eat any sweets. This includes diet soda, protein bars with sugar or artificial sweetener, trail mix that includes chocolate, jam or jelly, and sweetened dried fruit.
Whole fruit is fine. Dishes that have a small amount of sugar as an ingredient are OK as long as no one would consider them a dessert.
