Thanks, Dani, for helping me out on this! Today was a big day. I made my commitment and joined the gym, where they told me about their new program -- Coach Approach. It's a retention program that is supposed to help me get into a program that will keep me coming back. All in all, I am setting myself up for success! I think now would be a really good time to put down why I want to exercise regularly. I have two main reasons. The one that finally got me going is that I gained 10 pounds in one month! I have always had a very steady weight, and never had to put effort into that. It appears that I now do and it will be much easier to take those 10 lbs off now than wait until I need to take of 20 or 50. The other is to feel better. I don't like talking about my "blues" publicly but fighting low energy and bouts of depression is a very good reason to get on and "stickk" with an exercise program. |
