| Progress toward goal. Interesting thought, each day was about communication - communication with the riders, communication in finding camp sites or lodging, food, the basics of life. And on the home front, all of the promotion before I left did not produce a person for the Women's retreat. So, that is being revamped into a smaller event. We will see. | |

| The trip is finished. The kids were amazing. Some days they rode 70-75 miles. The fewest miles in a day was 55. Cloudy, rainy, for 7 days then the sun came out. I met some wonderful people in these small towns. Amazing how many bikers were doing a long distance ride. I am exhausted. This was hard work. I did have one afternoon for me and I went to Falling Water, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural marvels. The land and home was gorgeous. Now, I am working on gearing up my mind and body for the "real world". | |

Good morning, everyone from Pittsburgh, PA. My life as support driver/cook has been an intensive 4 days. Running errands, food shopping, finding places to stay, refereeing 6 personalities at times. Pouring rain to cloudy skies, to 30 mile an hour winds,brrrr 38 degrees in a tent. Today is sunny and going to be 70. YAY!!! I see this as no different, in many ways from social networking. Always being "on" 24/7 at the request of other people - I will be ready for a vacation when this is over. I am hoping from here on out that I will be able to do some hiking. Blessings to each of you. You are amazing women making a difference in the world. |

Everyday last week was about promotion for the bus or the bike trip. Thursday had to cancel the bus. Wrote my talk for Sunday's service. Final preparations for the bike trip. Just finished preparing food and packing. 11 days on the road.

Each day has been an adventure in marketing the Climate March project and my own personal business. At times, it has been disappointing when I have a belief that it does not cost much for a person to donate 5 - 20 for clean water in our Great Lakes.
