| I have nearly final drafts ready for a final edit and sending to my dissertation chair on tomorrow, my deadline. There are several sections of the literature that I will write after completing the chapters that they summarize, and I will continue to revise and add depth to these chapters over the course of the year, but with those caveats, I am handing in two, fully edited, coherent chapters that are worth reading, with a total of over 70 pages. Goal accomplished, now I have the rest of the year to write the next three chapters. | |

| Last week went okay. I definitely put in the hours. I spent a lot of time getting things set up (I recently moved, so I had to get my desk set up, some office supplies, new keyboard, etc), and got some good writing done as well, though not as much as I hoped. It feels like I'm pushing a big machine with rusty, old gears, and having to oil them up and get some momentum going. I'm looking forward to it feeling smoother as I go. | |
