| a good week of writing-finished a decent first draft. Had an uncomfortable meeting with my advisor. I think his advice and directions were valid, but the delivery was tough! I did a good job recovering and putting some time in after that anyways. I also did a lot of longer work sessions, like an hour at a time, which is unusual for me. I think that's something I should work on for my next commitment. | |

| An interesting week-slow start, and also did no work on Wednesday bc Jessica and Nichole came over. Managed to be successful by fitting in time while out in Claremont, and also by doing longer work sessions each time I sat down--this is a good direction for me, and something I should probably focus on as part of my next year of work. Of course, a lot of that time was spent staring into space, or dancing around the room, but that is part of the writing process for me. I think I will finish a complete draft this coming week. | |

| a decent week of mid level writing--need to make sure to get Jason to take a look at it next week. Nice work session on Friday night with friends. | |

| Slow writing, but improvements on the introduction section. Next week, will do the methods+ results section, which will be a fairly big push, but important to get this done. | |
