Days 3-4 went fine; all bases covered except the challenge set by my 5-minute journal of contacting an old friend. Managed to meditate with Headspace both days using the sports rehab pack. Finding THAT one helpful, as it's leading me through some visualization exercises that I found very helpful for an injury I dealt with back in early 2014. Did some experimenting in the kitchen today and came up with a killer mushroom soup using only two ingredients, pulled turkey with onions, herbs and sundried tomatoes, and then a skinny paleo pesto that I threw on a hot salad of broccoli, sauteed zucchini and roasted yellow peppers. Looking forward to more of the same success in the next coming days, as well as a little extra time with my guy since my company is closed for the G20 chaos here in Hamburg.

Two full days in and so far, neither perfect! That's a change from the regular Whole Life Challenge, and probably a good sign that I've set goals of an appropriate level of difficulty. So far nutrition has been ok; I decided to follow the Lean Legs protocol again and have stuck to the plan. I feel like my metabolism is firing up a little again, but I also have had a bit of tummy trouble as well, unfortunately. And unhappy tummy means unhappy girl ? Working out, on the other hand, has been great -- it's awesome to be back at normal CrossFit after injury. I'm sore as hell right now though, so have been making sure to use my TENS device for massage/recovery. I've also hit my sleep goals each night, although I'm starting to feel that even 7 hours is not enough anymore to feel really GOOD. I've done my journaling and kept to my coffee commitment, but have missed meditation two days in a row. I need to find a good way to incorporate that, too.
