8,523 words of a really really rough draft, replete with typos, unfinished sentences, and half-baked idea. But the scenes are there, start to finish. Let's see if I'm up to edit it tomorrow. Definitely not my usual quality, but this story has been an unusually hard undertaking, as it's set in a place that I'm largely unfamiliar with, a genre that I don't usually read/write, and a character whose backstory I haven't quite figured out yet...At least the point of this exercise is to figure out my weaknesses are concerning this line of novel(s) that I'm trying to write and what to improve on in the next few decades... -____-
