Hamidreza and I discussed once again the opportunities that we see for him on the job market. The focus lies on jobs in the sphere of music and theatre. There is one job as stage craft at Theater-der-Jugend and a similar one for a independent theater group during summer that seem interesting to us. We plan to apply for this kind of jobs, but didn't start yet. |

I started to design a logo for Hamid in order to be able to print business cards for him. The logo is almost finished, I just have to revise it a little bit to make it more easily recognizable. |

I discussed with Hamid several strategies to improve his chances on the job market. First and foremost we decided, that he would take the chance and talk to Gabriela Benz about job opportunities in her company, as soon as he gets the chance. Also we think, that improving his German language skills and affording a good laptop computer could be helpful. Hamid promised, he would talk to people to get more advice for his job search and I stated, that I would get him business cards asap. |

After Hamid returned from a four weeks trip to his home country Iran we met for an after work drink at a Biergarten. Hamid addressed the issue of the recently posted and hence failed application for a job as stage craft at the Music University and admitted that the sacking hit him unprepared. Nevertheless he seemed more determined than ever to continue to fight to find a suitable job. I promised I would help him by searching the online job platforms for ideas and also by checking out affordable professional training offers. Another important task of mine will be to find out about pension fund regulations for foreigners. |
