In 2018, I will not spend time on news sites, buy physical newspapers or news magazines, or browse news aggregators like Reddit or Twitter. I will block all major news sites on all my devices and periodically check my browsing history and add sites I missed. I will ask my friends and family not to talk about the news with me, with the exception of events that strongly and materially affect my personal interest, such as a final, legally binding Brexit deal.
