I have been recording what I have been eating fairly consistently over the past 6 weeks. My focus has mainly been around management of IBS symptoms rather than caloric intake. I have been on a low FODMAP diet over the past 4 weeks, and focus on this has taken me away from the focus on calories. However this low FODMAP diet seems to help with the IBS symptoms. When my IBS symptoms act up it dramatically reduces my energy levels.
Going forward, I want to be tracking and managing the following:
1. FODMAP component of the food I'm eating in relation to IBS symptoms.
2. Caloric Intake - for the purpose of fat loss.
3. Protein consumption - for the purpose of increasing lean body mass.

I have been eating healthy as of late but I have not been diligent about recording what I eat and counting my calories.
