ykarate commits to:
Eat only fresh fruit and non-processed veggies (frozen is okay) and drink only non-sugared liquids for 4 weeks after training for one hour or cycling 10 miles or more, otherwise non-sugared liquid only fast. AM & PM weight and BP checks required! Off for date night with Mom, birthdays and holidays only if BP 120 over 80 or less!

I feel for you, Dad, with this commitment complicated as it is by the shoulder pain you've been experiencing for the past few weeks as you try and maintain your training and push-up regimen.
