September was a really difficult month due to Family Birthdays and my Parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary. I would have to say that, overall, I've achieved a YES in this StickK Commitment but the last month wasn't at all straightforward.
Overall achievement, though: Grade A because although I spent more than I planned, I ended up getting more in than I paid.

I'm on the verge of not achieving my goal for the month. I've spent over £200 buying things for Mum and Dad's 60th Anniversary, spent my budget for Dad's Birthday, and given cash for Tim's 21st (which was meant to come out of August's pot but I gave it to him this month), which I can afford and am still in budget but, with Karen now buying £72 worth of room decorations - unplanned - I can see me having to transfer some cash. Having said that, my Tangerine pot is looking very healthy, this month, so I think I can allow a bit of off-setting. It is an unusual month, with all these family activities.

I knew September was going to be an expensive month - birthdays and Mum & Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary party and gift, so I have been good at budgeting - although I may not have budgeted enough for the Anniversary party, as I have bought little bits of decoration that I didn't intend to (but they're cheap!) and I ended up going halves with Karen on a taxi and champagne for M&D, that she arranged, and wasn't planned, on the actual day of their Anniversary, so that's taken my percentage down a notch on Point 2.

I may not end up with much left over my main account but I am still tracking to where I thought I would be and will not overspend. Therefore, overall, I have been successful in my management of spending = This week: Grade A

This week I have been paid all the money I'm owed from my Tangerine work and am being very conscious of my planned budget when it comes to events (Tim's 21st birthday, M&D's 60th Anniversary & Dad's Birthday). My account adds up apart from I'm 81p out but I have a feeling that is a monthly bank charge for my Platinum Account. Overall, I have achieved 100% on all 3 commitments = This week: Grade A
